Your students can have fun while learning literacy!!!!Literacy Rocks is a presentation by Brisbane-based company GnT (Aus) Pty Ltd of fun, interesting, stand-alone literacy activities that come to your primary school. Students complete 15 X 5 minute exercises, each structured from Prep to Year 7.

Examples of the learning aids and manipulatives utilised to make learning fun include: PVC cards, farm yards, sketch pads, wooden cubes, puzzles, a semi-trailer toy, vtech computers, train game, Twister, laminated reading sheets, crosswords, word-search boxes, mini sports, touch screen computer, and a Wii.
There are three X 90 minute sessions run per school day. Each session caters for one class of students (we recommend a maximum of 30 students per session) who work usually in pairs in a non- competitive environment. Reward stickers on completion of each task are a focal point of our enriching program.
The school provides a double classroom, hall, or covered area, one teacher per class, and (preferably) 3 teacher aides/volunteers per session. These adults, combined with one independent mentor, provide one adult to supervise 3 activities - an excellent ratio of one adult to six students.
Cost of $6 per student for the 90 minute session includes a workbook, pencil and eraser, reward stickers, an independent mentor for all sessions, as well as use of fifteen separate cases of resources.
